Seminars

Fiorillo Glavin Gordon offers a variety of customized seminars for unions and their representatives. These courses range from introductions for beginners (an afternoon session or one – two days), to intensive programs for experienced union members (up to five days).

Each course may be customized to the union’s particular industry and to feature content that reflects current or future legal issues of the particular union. Where applicable, a range of exercises are introduced to provide hands-on learning experiences.

The lawyers who conduct our courses have extensive experience teaching union activists and representatives from virtually every industry. They have presented at a variety of in-house and commercial seminars, such as CLE, Lancaster House and Insight. As well, they have taught or provided guest lectures at various educational facilities, such as the Canadian Labour Congress Winter School in Harrison, the Capilano University Labour Studies Program and the University of British Columbia Law School.
