Anthony was called to the Bar in 1994 following articles with McGrady, Askew & Fiorillo and continued with the firm as an associate lawyer. In November 1997 he became a partner in the new law firm, Askew Fiorillo Hughes & Glavin.

Anthony has appeared before the British Columbia Provincial Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, as well as the Federal Court of Appeal.
