Kevin Shano joined the firm in January 2000.

After completing post-secondary studies in hotel management, Kevin commenced his career in the hospitality industry. After several years, he left his home province of Newfoundland and traveled West where he had a brief two year stint in Jasper, AB. He continued West and settled in Vancouver and decided to focus on developing his skills as a legal assistant. Once there he studied both the secretary and legal secretary programs at Vancouver Community College where he obtained his diploma in 1994.

Kevin worked with various law firms prior to joining Fiorillo Glavin Gordon. He obtained valuable secretarial experience in a number of areas including corporate, civil litigation and pension law but now prefers a secretarial focus in the area of labour and human rights law.

In addition to his work as a legal assistant, Kevin is also the firm's Office Administrator. He coordinates the activities of the firm's eight lawyers and is responsible for all things "office". In his free time, Kevin enjoys traveling and participating in the sports of softball and curling
